Produced by Sara Fijo for Gondola Films Documentary directed by José M. Borrell The Eurofighter Typhoon is a versatile, twin-engine and highly maneuverable fighter aircraft, designed and built by the European companies consortium Eurofighter GmbH, created in 1983 and composed of companies EADS, BAE Systems and Alenia Aeronautica. He made his first flight on March 27, 1994, entering service on April 8, 2003 in Germany. Its delta-cantilever wing-shaped design resembles that of other modern fighter jets such as Dassault Rafale, from France, and Saab 39 Gripen, from Sweden. It was designed thinking that its combination of agility, stealth capabilities and advanced aviation systems will categorize it as one of the best fighters currently in service.
